The Emergency Medical Hologram on the Starship Voyager was initiated as a short-term supplement to the ships medical staff. But when that vessel's entire medical team died as the ship was pulled into the Delta Quadrant, the EMH mark-1 became the sole resource for the surviving crew. Programmed with over 5 million treatments collected from 2,000 medical texts and the experience of 47 physicians, the Doctor--as he became known--served his crew with pride. He expanded his programming by going on "away missions" to the holodeck and eventually gained the capability to escape the confines of Voyager's holo-emitters thanks to the advanced technology of his mobile emitter.

Born Wednesday February 22, 2350

Annika Hansen was the daughter of exobiologists who took an unusual amount of risks studying the Borg. As a result, Annika was assimulated at age six and she grew up as a Borg Drone with barely any memories of her human life. She was unwillingly severed from the collective by the crew of Starship Voyager in 2374 when Captain Janeway forged a breif alliance with The Borg to take on a common enemy in Species 8472. Refusing to return to her human name, Annika continued to serve as Seven of Nine tertiary adjunct of Unimatrix 01, though she shortened it to "Seven" for the ease of the crew.
