There were frequant attacks were because of this.  The Borg prevented the Brunali from staying technologically advanced. To stop the attacks they became void of technology.

He blamed Voyager for the destruction of his home in the twenty-ninth century and he traveled in time to prevent that destruction by destroying Voyager.

Jaret Otel

A Sikarian who offered Voyager technology with that could bend time and space and take years off their voyage home. However, this trade was against the Prime Directive and Janeway ordered against the trade.

The Doctor

Activated 2371

The Doctor is an Emergency Medical Hologram Mark 1 on the USS Voyager. He was forced to take over the sickbay when the USS Voyager cheif medical officer and nurse were killed. The Doctor was designed as a backup system, and although he sustains a prickly wit as his personality develops, the strain of simulating artificial life pushes the limits of his programming.  Both Kes and Paris help him out as nurses when they can. Originally restricted to the sickbay and holodecks, the Doctor eventually a mobile emitter to expand his range.

The Farther Shore

By Christie Golden

You can always reach farther then where you are. Actually this book has nothing to do with that. In its 275 pages it has two wars going on. One with Seven and Echeb, where they are blamed for spreading a virus on Earth and one with the doctor and his partisipation in starting a holographic war. I started this book on Tuesday January 29, 2013 and finished it on February 6, 2013.

Torres was on Boreth looking for her mother, Mireal. She left her daughter and Tom behind. She was hunting  a Grikshak, which was the largest animal.on Boreth, about the size of a bear. She killed it then said a thank you prayer to the Gods.

On Earth, Harry Kims girlfriend, Libby was researching Trevor Blake then Conington for odd behaviour having to do with the holographic war, but their bio report seemed ordinary until she got to their top secret work. She wanted to talk to Trevor, so she dropped a pad with a fake journal 3 days in a row at a coffee house, and he finally picked it up. Libby took Trevor to dinner to repay him for finding her "fake journal." She went to Trevors for a nightcap.Trevor was about to do something so incredible, no one would overlook him ever again. She found that Admiral Kenneth Montgomery was in a section 9.

She and Covington ware looking for a mole in Starfleet Intelligence (SI). Covington called Libby in the morning and told her Trevor wasn't the mole.

The doctor was accused of being part in the murder of twelve people, Janeway told Picard. The doctor wasn't read his rights as a human would be. He was arrested and being held on no charge and was probably going to be deprogramed. Janeway was asking for Data's help. Oliver Baines was helping with the Doctors case as well.

Icheb was beaten by his own classmates, because there was a Borg virus, and Seven was ostrozied as well. Ichib was snoring, and Seven almost woke him, in fear that he was choking, but the Doctor stopped her and told her that it was a natural part of sleep. Janeway just had a nightmare where Seven was dying.

A hologram of Lieutenant Vassily Andropov friend made him sit in his chair and scared him. His double was going to replace him in Starfleet and wreak havoc.

Janeway met with Data about her proposal with Chokatay, Kim, Tuvok and Paris. Data agreed to help Janeway with the doctors case. He made the more portable emitters.

The Borg virus was just triggered by Voyagers return. The virus had to be activated by the Borg Queen.
Royal Protocol was used to replicate the Queen. Thus the Queen could never die because she was a program. The Queen was posing as Covington, a high level person in Starfleet intelligence. Once she was complete with her modifications she would have no need for food because her tastebuds would disappear. Anything her body needed it would absorb.

Janeway, Tuvok, Data and Chakotay came to see Echib, Seven and the doctor. They took 7 and Echeb and replaced them with holograms.

Janeway was forcing her way to see the doctor, by way of Picards schedule with Data. Data helped the doctor make one of his mobile emitter chips.

Janeway, Chakotay, Data, Paris, Kim beamed up to Voyager. Janeway was still captain since they never formally absolved Janeway of command. Tuvok believed Starfleet was behaving illogically. He was guarding Seven and Echeb while they were regenerating, someone entered and Tuvok gave him the Vulcan neck pinch.

"Project Full Circle" was finding out Voyager futuristic capabilities and enhancements and completely messed up the ship. Cras, part of Project Full Circle, was on the bridge with Harry. Data activated the doctor in sickbay. Because the Mobile Emitter was taken from Voyager there was no doctor. The Borg had an EMH, that helped create the queen. Brenna Covington, Borg Queen, could almost sense the doctor. All of the Borg alcoves were destroyed, but two could be saved.

Torres found her mother, but her mother didn't approve of her marriage to Tom, but she wasn't informed she had a granddaughter.

Echeb read a lot and found a lot of referance about falling in love. He wondered if he was falling with Eshe, a girl he met in one of his classes in Starfleet Academy. He was attacked by his friends who became Borg, however he was only dreaming. Nanoprobes spread the virus. The Borg Queen was fully activated, she could sense others thoughts.

Janeway put Watson and his team in the brig. Janeway went to the bridge and removed Crais, who was with Harry.

All of the other holograms had deactivated themselves.

Seven and Echeb got out of regeneration for questioning.

Torres was surprised that her mother wanted to see her father and meet Tom and their daughter

7 had pain, the same as when the Queen tried to contact her.

Montgomery was under at phaser when he beamed up to Voyager

They were receiving a message from Libby then Montgomery tried to track it and erased it by mistake. She resent it. Janeways team and Montgomery were working together to take the Queen down.

Torres was telling her mother about the Klingons she met in the Delta Quadrant. They thought Mirel was the savior.

Libby let Voyager know Borg nanoprobes were carrying the virus, they are determined to find a cure. The Queen heard the conversation. She couldn't desepher the words fast enough. The Queen activated the virus.

All of Starfleet Intelligence was presumably Borg. They have made a vaccine. The Doctor had created good nanoprobes to fight the bad ones in the fight they had with species 8472.They interfeared with the signal activating them. That would disconnect them from the hive mind. This will only last a few hours. They are going to try to disconnect the Queen, rather then all the drones. Montgomery, Janeway, Tuvok, Data, Chakotay, Paris, and Seven were going.

Mirel and Blanna were attacking a mother Grikshak. Her mother died as the beast through her and sailed her with its claw. She said goodbye with a Klingon death ceremony. They've got Montgomery assistant and he is telling the Borg everything.

Janeway and her team were down and the drones fired weapons but only at stun. Data was remotely fighting her. The Queen ordered the death of Janeway and Montgomery. Data was finding paths she hadn't considered.

The lights went out in the turbolift, so they activated theirs on the environmental suits. They were greeted by a the Queens physician when they entered a room. Seven and Tuvok fired at his hollow Emitter. Data transported them into the room with the Queen. The Queen was regenerating. If they kill her everyone who's been infected could die. If they don't everyone could get infected. Seven was inside the collective fighting it from inside. Montgomery fired at the Queen and Seven. Seven refused the temptation of becoming Queen.

Torres asked Tom if he wanted to move to Boreth, the holiest planet in the Klingon Empire. Janeway started teaching at the Academy with Tuvok. Icheb was in Starfleet. Janeway offered Chakotay captain of Voyager.
